Hristos Chris Kolovos - Founder
Hristos Chris Kolovos is the Managing Partner of Lucien’s Manor and Mansion on Main Street, two premier catering facilities located in Berlin and Voorhees Township New Jersey Respectively. He is also the managing partner of The Colonial Diner and Olga’s Diner in Woodbury and Marlton New Jersey respectively.
Kolovos grew up in and has lived throughout central and southern New Jersey. A graduate of Eastern High School in Voorhees, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from American University in Washington, DC in 2001.
Kolovos has spent his entire life working in the hospitality industry, starting throughout his childhood with his parents in restaurant and diner settings. His parents, Vasilios and Angela Kolovos, both migrated to the United States from Greece in the 60’s. They met in Dover, New Jersey, married and had two sons, Chris and Dimitri Kolovos. Kolovos’ parents worked tirelessly through the ranks in the restaurant industry until they were able to buy their own establishments. One of those establishments was Lucien’s Old Tavern in Berlin. At the time, Kolovos was ten years old and learned quickly to help any way he could. From helping with construction, hanging coats, bussing tables, to washing dishes, Kolovos spent many of his formative years learning what it took to run a business.
After graduating from college at American University in Washington DC, Kolovos came back to Lucien’s to help run the family business and became a partner in 2003. While helping grow the business to one of the Premier Catering Facilities in New Jersey, Kolovos helped orchestrate multimillion-dollar renovations to the facility and fell in love with development, design, and construction. This lead Kolovos to acquire and help develop multiple projects throughout the East Coast and internationally. Currently, Kolovos plays a lead role in the operation and decision making of over two dozen companies. Among his recognitions, Kolovos was honored as a recipient of the 40 under 40 award by SNJ Business People, and the 20 under 40 by South Jersey Biz Magazine for his hard work in the South Jersey Business community.
Kolovos’ passion for the hospitality industry comes from working with people. The catering and restaurant business has allowed Kolovos to meet people from all walks of life and provides an avenue to be able to help many different organizations with fundraisers and various events to raise a great deal of money and awareness for great causes.
In May of 2018 Kolovos and his group acquired the Mansion on Main Street. It is a 45,000 Square foot catering facility that was once one of the main competitors to Lucien’s. He has already begun the turnaround to the Mansion by cutting overall costs by 35% and raising revenue within the first year. There is a multimillion dollar renovation slated to begin in January of 2020 which Kolovos has orchestrated the design of. This will bring the Mansion back to it’s glory days.
In October of 2019 Kolovos also opened a new 275 seat diner in Marlton NJ, Olga’s Diner. Kolovos orchestrated the approval process, design and building of the $4 mm project that took about a year.
Mr. Kolovos also oversees a portfolio of about $50 mm in real estate holdings between he and his partners. He has worked to close more than a two dozen real estate deals in the past twenty years. He has also developed seven different properties from the ground up. In the past year he has finished developing a Dollar General and a Mavis tire store ground up. He has gained extensive knowledge on development through these deals.
In 2021, Mr. Kolovos has joined with Tim Kalavruzos and they brought their groups together to purchase the Double Tree Hotel in Mt. Laurel NJ. Together they also just purchased The Palace Catering in Blackwood NJ to redevelop this site.
Chris and Tim have now started their latest venture which is White Lightning Investments LLC. This company was created and operated by Chris and Tim to oversee all of the ventures that they jointly own, streamlining all their processes and allowing for incredible synergies which they hope will catapult them into the next phase of their growth in an array of different industries.
Tim Kalavruzos - Founder
Tim Kalavruzos was born in New Jersey, to Greek immigrant parents. From a young age, Mr. Kalavruzos worked at his father’s diner, and was given the opportunity to learn every single aspect in his family-owned restaurant. This helped him learn the value of what it takes to create and run a successful business.
Mr. Kalavruzos graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor’s degree, and then received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School in 1999. Upon graduating law school, he began his own business and founded the law firm of Kalavruzos, Mumola, Hartman, Lento & Duff, LLC in Hamilton, New Jersey where he was the managing partner. Mr. Kalavruzos wanted to apply his entrepreneurial spirit in a variety of enterprises and began searching for other opportunities.
In 2001, he started buying and managing various properties and businesses, including office buildings, commercial strip centers, single tenants, land developments and apartment buildings. In 2004, Mr. Kalavruzos began acquiring and developing laundromats throughout the Philadelphia market to be the largest Laundromat operator with 9 locations in Philadelphia.

After a $16 million-dollar renovation, it became a premier catering facility with 69,000 square feet of high-end banquet space holding approximately 2,000 people. After successfully transferring the Merion into the largest catering facility in South Jersey, Mr. Kalavruzos ventured into building, owning and operating five (5) additional catering facilities: The Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, New Jersey; The Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph, New Jersey; The Waterfall in Claymont, Delaware; and The Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Double Tree Hotel in Mount Laurel NJ.
